One thousand rally in Paris in solidarity with Polish women

On Sunday 2 October around a thousand people assembled opposite the Polish Embassy in Paris to denounce the proposed new abortion law.

The protest which was launched by young Polish women active in the #czarny protest was supportd by feminist organisations, left parties and major trade unions. [1]

The World March of Women announced that a European demonstration, highlighting in particular the cases of Poland, Ireland and Malta which have the most restrictive legislation in the European Union, would be organised in Brussels in the coming year.
