Sinistra Critica (Critical Left)

The Sinistra Critica (Critical Left) was originally a tendency (in which the Italian Fourth Internationalists playd a leading role) within the Party of Communist Refoundation (PRC). The tendency refused the participation of the party in the Prodi government. It left the PRC after its two elected members refused to vote for the war in Afghanistan, and became an independent organisation in January 2007. In 2009 it declared itself in politucal solidarity with the Fourth International.
